Fishing Boat

An icy cold current tried to push Olivia and Jones back. Despite the water's attempts to keep them away, they were tenacious. After about an  hour they made it to a partially submerged fishing boat. The wood was a corroded green, and there was seaweed all over the sides. "Looks like it's been here for a while." Jones says.  "Yeah, it probably has." Olivia agrees. "Well, let's turn back.." "No way. We came too far to turn back." Olivia finds a small opening in the side of the boat. She swims in first. Jones reluctantly follows. The bottom floor of the boat is pitch black. "We can't even see anything." Jones sneers. Olivia throws up her bubble. An electric current runs through it and gives off a faint light. They now see that they are in a watery cabin. There is a hammock attached to two pillars on one side and an old time radio and dresser on another. "Now are you happy we came?" Olivia asks. "It is interesting." He admits. Olivia swims to the hammock in an attempt to find the person's identity. However, before she could get too close, she is interrupted by the sound of a goat. "Did you hear that?" She asks. "Yeah it sounded like a animal." Olivia shines her bubble in a darkened corner of the cabin. To her horror, she sees a drowning goat. Jones, without saying a word swims over to the animal. He carefully hoists the goat over his shoulders, and begins to swim out of the boat. "I'm gonna get this guy safety. See if you can find any other animals." Jones orders while exiting.

Bulldozer

Freddy's bulldozer shook the ground as it approached. It was a massive machine. Roughly about the length and height of a small, ranch house. If one didn't know that there was a fox behind the wheel, one might guess that there was a phantom. Freddy could not be seen, at least not from my vantage point. Though in retrospect, I don't know what is stranger, a fox or a ghost driving a bulldozer. When the bulldozer stopped by the bonfire, all guns were on him. "You're surrounded. Get out of the vehicle ." Sgt. Rodgers shouts. Freddy doesn't move. "Come on Freddy, it's gonna be alright." Norm assures. The door to bulldozer swings open. Freddy has a stupid, confused grin on his face. "Put your hands over your head and climb down slowly." Sgt. Rodgers instructs. Freddy looked even more confused. "Climb down slowly first, and then place your hands above your head." She sighed. All eyes watched as Freddy descended the massive bulldozer, and then joined his raccoon friend. "Now, what's this about-" But before Sgt. Rodgers could finish her question, she was interrupted by crackling on her walkie talkie. "What?" She answers angrily. "We've found them." O'Neil informs. "What?" "They were spotted on the north east coast swimming away." Sgt. Rodgers eyes light up. "You heard him. Everybody move." Sgt. Rodgers and all her soldiers rush out of the tree house city, knocking Freddy, Norm, and myself down in the process. The three of us are left alone. I wait for a minute and then attempt to follow. I feel something pull at my pant leg as I start to walk. I look down to see Norm. "Not that way." He says. "I need to get there before they do." I reply. "Not that way." He repeats. "Then how?" I ask. Norm points up to one of the highest tree houses.

Find Them

Todd stared into the barrel of the gun pointed at his face. All thoughts except finding Olivia and Jones escaped his mind. He closed his eyes tightly trying to go back to the tree houses, but all he could see was black. Todd opened his eyes again. "Well, did you see them?" O'Neil snarled. Todd shook his head. "Get on it then. I'm losing my patience with you." Todd temporarily shifted his focus away from the gun. In the background, behind O'Neil was a screen displaying one of the islands coasts. Todd could see what appeared to be Olivia and Jones swimming away. "I see them!" Todd shouted. "Where?" Todd  Pointed his head to the screen. O'Neil turned around. His jaw nearly dropped at the sight. "Son of a bitch. They're getting away."

On the Rocks

Olivia and Jones stood on jagged rocks and watched the violent, ocean waves crash into the island. They had reached the end of the island, and there was nothing in sight. "This is it." Jones said over the loud wind. "Yeah." "We should turn back now." Olivia does not respond. "There is nothing here." He says. He gently pulls Olivia back, but something catches her eye. "What's that?" She asks, pointing off to the distance. Jones squints his eyes. "I don't know. Maybe a boat or something that crashed into the coral reef." "A boat!" Olivia shouts. "Maybe." "We have to go." "What? Why?" "There could be people trapped in there?" She says, removing her shoes. "That crash probably happened a long time ago." He replies. "Maybe, but maybe not." Olivia starts descending the jagged rocks to the ocean. "You're actually going in there?" Olivia doesn't reply. She continues down the rocks instead. Jones shakes his head. He then takes off his combat boots. "Looks like I'm going in there too."

Attack!

A giant, muscular soldier carefully guarded me. He watched my every move. If I so much as turned my head, he screamed at me. All I could do was stare straight ahead at one of the many tree houses. I saw soldiers frantically running back and forth searching for something.Under better circumstances I would find that humorous. However, these were anything but pleasant circumstances. Sgt. Rodgers walked up to my guard. "She is no where to be found." Sgt. Rodgers said in a casual tone, making me wonder if she saw this man as an equal. "Did you check everywhere?" He asked. "Of course I checked everywhere. Who do you think I am?" She replies, disgusted. "Obviously you didn't because you would have found her if you did." He says condescendingly. St.Rodgers clenches her teeth. She crouches down to my level. "Where is she?" "I have no idea." "Unacceptable. Where is she?" Before I have a chance to say anything, the muscular guard fires a round into  a nearby bush. Enraged, Sgt. Rodgers snags the gun from the guard. "What is your problem?" She shouts. "Someone was in the bush." "I don't care. It could have been one of ours." She snaps. "Why would one of ours be hiding in the bush?" He asks. Sgt. Rodgers does not respond. She stomps over to the bush. She pulls back thick branches and leaves  expecting to find an animal of some sort. There is absolutely nothing there. Not even paw print. She turns to the guard even angrier than before. "You were attacking nothing." "I wouldn't say nothing." A small voice replies. Sgt. Rodgers turns back around to see Norm on the other side of the bush. "Who are you?" She asks, ignoring the fact that he is a talking raccoon. "Norm." "Norm, what are you doing here?" "I'm working. What are you doing here?" "I'm also working." "Interesting." Their conversation is interrupted by the sound of an approaching bulldozer. "What's that?" The guard asks. "It's Freddy with the bulldozer. He finally got here." Norm says. "You can't tear this place down." Sgt. Rodgers informs. "Sorry, I got orders." "You're not tearing this place down." She repeats. "I kinda have to. I told you. I have orders." "They can't be more important than my orders." Sgt. Rodgers insists. "I don't know you, but yeah, they are." "No, they aren't." She says calmly, pointing her rifle at him. Norm sighs and raises his paws high in the air.

Discussing the Vision

"Any good dreams?" O'Neil laughs while pulling up a chair beside Todd. "There was one." Todd responds, groggily. O'Neil sneers. "It was only a joke. You couldn't have possibly have had a dream in that amount of time." "Maybe not, but I saw something." "I'm sure you did." O'Neil says, sarcastically. "I was there." "You were where?" O'Neil asks. " I don't know. Some bridge by a tree house."  O'Neil rolls his eyes. "Fascinating. Now if you don't mind we need to get back to work. They could appear on this screen any minute."  Todd does not respond. "What? What is it now?" "I saw Sgt. Rodgers." "On the screen?" "No it wasn't the screen. It was better. I was there." "I'm sure you were." O'Neil says, brushing it off.  "I was." "Sure." "I was!" Todd shouts. O'Neil, annoyed, points his gun at Todd's face. "Fine. If you were there make it happen again."

Theories About Madam

"It was there, right?" Jones asks while staring at the now bare area. "It sure was." Olivia replies. "Maybe the wind carried it away." Olivia picks up a pile of leaves. She then drops them to the Earth, indicating that there is no wind, or at least not any strong winds. "Maybe an animal carried it away." Jones suggests. "Yeah, it's possible." Olivia says, not 100% convinced. Jones picks his gun off the ground. "I'm gonna go find that raccoon." "Yeah, you do that." Olivia responds, while wandering deeper into the jungle. Jones bites his lip in frustration. He does not want to follow Olivia. However, he knows he can not leave her, so he chases after her.

Remote Viewing

Todd struggled with all his might, but it was no use trying to escape. O'Neil tied him tight. Todd thought if he couldn't escape at least he could relax. He leaned his head on the chair. As soon as he did he felt himself being pulled back into darkness. A moment later he was on a wooden bridge suspended between two enormous tree houses. Below him, on the ground, he saw many soldiers in green camouflage frantically searching for something. Sgt. Rodgers ran down the bridge towards him. She was irate about something. "What are you doing standing here?" She shouted. Todd didn't know how to respond. He wasn't exactly sure what he was doing. "I said what are you doing standing here?" She asked again, this time even more furious. Todd wanted to at least say "observing", but  he couldn't utter a word. It was as if tape was covering his mouth. "Insubordination." Sgt. Rodgers scowls. Todd watched as the image of Sgt Rodgers blurred and faded. He felt himself being pulled into darkness again, and soon he was starring at six screens. A hand landed on Todd's shoulder. He glanced out of the corner of his eye to see O'Neil. "Miss me?" O'Neil said with a grin.

Madam

Olivia and Jones followed Norm deeper into the Jungle. He led them to a semi opened area with many banana trees. Bananas were scattered all over the muddy ground. Norm picked one of them up and peeled it. "Here she is." He said, stuffing himself. "Where?" Olivia asked. "Right there." He replied, pointing to a nearby scarecrow. "Where?" Olivia asks again. "Right there. In the hat." Norm pointed again to the scarecrow who was indeed wearing a big, purple, Sunday hat. Olivia and Jones stood there for a moment, half expecting someone else to pop up. "You guys wanna say hello to her?" "Oh, I wouldn't know what to say." Olivia says, quietly. "Nonsense. Madam is very down to Earth." "Madam?" Jones repeats. "Yeah, that's what we call her. Don't know her real name, but she doesn't seem to mind that." "Um, I guess we could meet her." Olivia says. "Great. You're gonna need to do something for me first though." "What's that?" "I need you to put your gun to the side." He says to Jones. "I'm a solider. I can't do that." "Look, we're very peaceful. You don't want to give Madam the wrong idea. You don't want her to think you guys are hostile." "I am not hostile." Jones shouts. "Just put the gun down. You can get it later." Olivia says. Jones begrudgingly complies. "Good. Now I need you to remove this." Norm says pointing to Olivia's shield. She also complies. "And this." He continues, pointing to Olivia's third eye mask. Olivia removes the mask. She attempts to put her sugar skull mask on in its place. "No. Madam needs to see your real face." "Why?" "Just do it." Jones quips. Olivia refrains from putting the sugar skull mask back on and instead holds both masks. "Good. Now you may meet Madam." Norm says, pleasantly. The three of them walk over to the scarecrow. Norm clears his throat. "Madam, we have visitors." Norm whispers to Olivia and Jones to introduce themselves. "My name is Olivia." "And I am Private Jones." Olivia rolls her eyes at Jones' formal greeting. There is a long pause. The three of them stare into the scarecrow's button eyes. All expecting it to say something. Norm breaks the silence. "I know I have work to do. They seemed interested in meeting you." Olivia and Jones look at Norm, puzzled. "I hope you're not upset." He continues. A faint smile comes across his face. "You're not? Oh, good, because they really did want to meet you." Norm breaths a sigh of relief, and then starts to walk away. Olivia and Jones turn their attention to Norm. "Where are you going?" Olivia asks. "Back to work." "Should we come with?" Jones asks. "No. Absolutely no need. You two should stay here and chat with Madam." With that, Norm scurries out of sight leaving Olivia and Jones alone in the jungle. They both turn back around only to find the patch of Earth that Madam was sticking out of was now vacant. The scarecrow had vanished.

Potty Break

Todd saw O'Neil jiggle his leg out of the corner of his eye. "What's the matter?" He asks. "What do you mean?" "Your leg." "What about my leg?" "It's bouncing." Todd replies. "It is." "Are you nervous?" "Why would I be nervous?" O'Neil asks in an irate tone. Todd doesn't bother to answer. Instead he goes back to mindlessly staring at the screens. "If you must know I need to use the washroom." "Then you should go." Todd says, calmly. O'Neil laughs. "And leave you here all alone? I don't think so." "Ok, it's your bladder not mine." "I'll be fine." Todd whistles. "What?" O'Neil shouts. "I'd hate to be your kidneys." "Will you shut up?" He says in pain. "Why don't you just go?" "You know I can't." "I promise I won't leave. Besides I'm sure nothing will happen for a while." O'Neil stands up. "I think I have an idea." He grabs my hood and cape and wraps it around Todd tying him tightly to the seat. O'Neil then smiles. "Now I can go."

Evience

Sgt. Rodgers unknowingly led us to the vacant tree house city. She smiled in delight upon seeing the bonfire. "We found them!" She exclaimed. "Excuse me, sergeant. How do you know they are hear?" A soldier asked. Sgt. Rodgers marched over to the soldier with full fury. "You dare question me, private?" " Sergeant, it's just -" "What's your name, soldier?" "It's Wilson. Dennis Wilson." He responds, nervously. "Wilson, you have a lot to learn. First thing. If I say they are here, then they are here." She walks over to the burning bonfire. "Here is the first bit of evidence. What do you think about that, Wilson?" Wilson doesn't say anything, but it is obvious he still doesn't agree. "The fire is still going. They couldn't have gotten far." Sgt. Rodgers glances in my direction. I make the mistake of catching her eye. "What do you think?" She asks. "It's possible they're still here." I say. Sgt. Rodgers snickers. "You hear that? They're here. He basically admitted it." She looks up at one of the many tree houses."We're going up. I know they're there."

Orders

"What are you doing here?" Norm asks, adjusting his hard hat. "You can talk?" Jones repeats, stunned. Norm rolls his eyes and directs his attention to Olivia. "What are you doing here?" He asks again. "We got lost." She confesses. "Yeah, well, get lost somewhere else. I have work to do. Freddy will be here any minuet." "Who's Freddy?" Jones asks. "He's a fox." Norm says with a sideways grin. "Can he talk as well?" "He can. He just usually chooses not too." Norm notices the bonfire. "You didn't get lost." "No, We did. In fact we were abandoned." Olivia says. "Abandoned?" He repeats. "Yes, we were left here all alone. With no way to get off the island." "I'm sorry. That's tough. But you can't stay here. I have orders. Freddy should be arriving with the bulldozer soon." "Did you just say you have orders?" Jones asks. "I did. What's it to you?" "That means that there are other's on this island." Norm half laughs. "There are." "And that would that there is a society here." Jones continues.  Norm folds his arms. "I don't like where you are going with this." Olivia crouches down to Norm's height. "We would really appreciate if you were to let us into their society. We promise we won't stay long." Norm throws down his arms. "Fine, but I'm not building another boat." "I wouldn't dream to ask you." Norm stomps past them. "Well, come on. What are you waiting for?"

An Old Aquaintance

By this point, the bonfire was puffing a healthy stream of smoke into the atmosphere. "You can stop now." Olivia says to Jones, who was dropping another pile of twigs into the bonfire. "You think this will do anything?" He asks. "It should." "Who are you expecting to rescue us?" Jones asks. "I don't know. I guess anybody." "What if sergeant comes back?" "I suppose that's possible." Olivia admits. "And what will you do then?" He wonders. Olivia shrugs. "Probably get a ride back on the helicopter." "You know she won't be happy with you." Jones says. Olivia nods. "I know, but you realize she won't be happy with you either." Jones takes a deep breath. "What do I do?" "I don't know." Suddenly there is a loud rustling in a nearby bush. Jones jumps up and aims his rifle at the bush. "I'm not afraid. Show yourself." He demands. A raccoon can be heard scurrying out of the bush. "It's just a raccoon." Olivia says, prompting Jones to turn his attention away from bush and back to the fire. "Just a raccoon?" A an angry voice calls out. Olivia and Jones nervously turn to see Norm the raccoon with his arms on his hips. "Did it just talk?" Jones asks. "Yeah, it did, and I don't appreciate you calling me an it."

Smoke Signals

Back at the base Todd received an angry call from Sgt. Rodgers. "Where is she!" Sgt. Rodgers screams over the radio without explaining herself. "I'm sorry, who?" Todd asks, innocently. "Don't play dumb. You know exactly who I'm talking about. She's not here." "I don't know what to tell you." He replies. " Tell me where she is. Look at the scree. Tell me." She demands. Todd looks at all six screens. None of them show Olivia or Jones. In fact they all show the coast only. "I don't see her." Todd says. "Zoom in." Sgt. Rodgers screeches. Todd complies. He zooms in each screen on to images of vacant beaches. "She's not there." He says, nervously. " Move the cameras!" "I can't do that." "What do you mean you can't do that?" She questions. "These are satellites. I can zoom in and out, but I can't move them." He responds. "Well do something!" Todd, unsure what to do, fidgets with the controls. He zooms the center screen out all the way. After he does so, something catches his eye. "There's smoke." He says in a quiet, nervous voice. "Smoke?" She repeats. "Yeah, that's what it looks like. From the center of the island." O'Neil jumps in. Sgt. Rodgers laughs on the other end. "That must be them.Good work." Sgt. Rodgers clicks off her radio. Todd sinks back in his seat, letting dread wash over him, and wondering if he just played the role of Judas.

Missing Persons

"Where is she! Where is she!" Sgt. Rodgers screams while frantically kicking mud clumps in every which direction. We arrived at the exact same spot that we left Olivia and Jones previously. I suppose it was wishful thinking on Sgt. Rodgers part to assume that they would still be there. I don't know if she believed they would both be completely obedient and stay put, but at any rate I couldn't keep my self from smirking. Unfortunately Sgt. Rodgers saw my smirk. "Something funny?" She questioned. "No." I lied. "Where is she!" She shouted again, this time directing her anger towards me. "I don't know." I replied. "What do you mean you don't know?" She asked. "Exactly what I said." Sgt. Rodgers took a deep breath. She then took her walkie talkie off her belt and clicked it on. "You don't know, that's fine. But I bet your friend does."

The Abandoned Tree City

Olivia and Jones stumbled into the abandoned tree house city. Despite the fact that all the doors and windows were boarded up, and there were no inhabitants , it was still a spectacular sight. "What is this place?" Jones says in wide eyed awe. "It's a tree house city."  Olivia replies. Jones rolls his eyes at the obviousness. "I take it you've never been here before?" Olivia asks. "No, I didn't even know this existed. If I did, I wouldn't have thought twice about signing up." "Why did you join the army?" Olivia asks, changing the subject. Jones shrugs. "I wanted adventure.May have gotten more than I bargained for." Olivia walks to the long vacant bonfire pit. "Perhaps, but I know how to get us out of here." She says. "And how are we going to do that?" "We'll start a fire and then use smoke signals." "Do you have anything to start a fire?" He questions. "I sure do." Olivia concentrates her attention on the fire pit. An electric current runs through her bubble. She bends over and lights a stick  with the  electric current. A small fire then ensues. Jones' mouth drops. "I'll get some twigs."

On Todd's End

O'Neil pressed the handgun into Todd's rib cage. Todd tried hard not to be distracted by the firearm as he typed away. "What are you doing?" O'Neil asks. "Exactly what you asked me to do. I'm sending code to the helicopter. Get it to come back." Todd replies. "Yeah, well work faster." "These things take time." "They shouldn't." Todd takes a deep breath. He continues to type. Suddenly Sgt. Rodgers' voice is heard over the radio. "Hello there. I know you are sabotaging me." Sgt. Rodgers says. "I was, but I'm not having you go to the island anymore." "That's right. I'm having him direct the helicopter to the hanger." O'Neil chimes in. "You will do nothing of the sort. He wants us to go to the island. We will go to the island." "I beg your pardon." O'Neil says. "That scum is  powerless. I want him to know that, and I want him to see it. We are going to the island. He will watch his friends die, and then you will dispose of him. Now, don't let him do anything else in the mean time." With that, Sgt. Rodgers ends her transmission. O'Neil turns to Todd, and smiles a twisted smile.

In the Helicopter

Despite the massive windows in the helicopter it felt like a directionless flight. I could not tell where we were going. That is until Sgt. Rodgers stomped up to me. "Explain yourself." She demands. I had no idea what she was talking about. I was under careful watch by armed soldiers. "Loss for words?" She continues. I nod. "Allow me to help. You have a friend on the inside who keeps trying to steer us back to the island." "Wait, Todd's doing that?" I question. "Don't act like you are shocked." "But I am." I say. Sgt. Rodgers sneers. "Don't be cute. This is a problem and I don't like it." "Then deal with it." I reply. Sgt. Rodgers clenches her fists. "You want me to deal with it? Fine, we'll fly back to the island just like he wants." "You're going to rescue Olivia and Jones?" I ask. Sgt. Rodgers shakes her head. "No, but I will find them. And I will shoot them, and I'll make sure your friend is able to see it all." Sgt. Rodgers gives a cruel smile and walks away.

Re Program

Todd raised his hands above his head. "Now turn around slow." O'Neil says with his gun pointed at Todd's back. Todd complied, turning his chair around, but as Todd became face to face with O'Neil he felt no fear in his body. "You found it!" Todd said with glee. "Found what?" O'Neil asks. Todd pointed his head to O'Neil's left hand which happened to be holding a red cape. "This yours?" He asks. "No." "Oh, it belongs to your friends?" "Yes, it does." "You know, you're in big trouble." O'Neil informs. "I had a feeling I would be." Todd says, calmly. "Did you really think you'd get away from me?" "Not really." O;Neil shakes his head. "Alright, Come with me." But before Todd could budge a siren, followed by a flashing light emitted from one of the screens. "What the hell was that?" O'Neil asks, annoyed. Todd glances at the screen. "They're going back to the island it looks like." "What do you mean back?" "I was confused myself. Apparently they left Olivia and one of the soldiers on the island." Todd replies. "How do you know that?" "I've been getting audio from the helicopter's radio. I also have limited visuals on the island. I'm guessing from a satellite" O'Neil stares dumbfounded at this information. "You didn't know about any of this?" Todd asks. "I'm only told what I need to know. Did they go back for the soldier?" "Sorta?" "What do you mean sorta?" Todd asks. "They went back because I programmed them to go back." "Yeah, well program it again." O'Neil says, pointing his gun. "I can try." "Don't just try."

Follow the Trail

Todd left a bread crumb trail for O'Neil. There were bits and pieces of the former Wellness Center scattered up and down the hallways. A brick here. A  weather vein there. He even found a red hood and cape that belonged to yours truly. I'm not sure why he decided to pick it up, but I have to say if he didn't I might not had seen it again. O'Neil followed the tail down the twisting hallways. He felt as if he was going no where until he noticed the rubble stopped at a partially  opened door. O'Neil carefully pushed crept through so as not to make a sound. There he saw Todd  sitting with his back to him, staring at six screens. O'Neil quietly took out his gun and placed it to Todd's back. "Hands where I can see them."

Jungle Guard

Jones and Olivia stared at each other for a while without saying a word. Eventually it was Jones who broke the silence. "You can lower your shield." He says. "I don't think so. How about you lower your gun." She asks. "I can't do that." "And I can't lower my shield." The helicopter could be heard overheard leaving. "They're taking off without you." "They'll be back." "You sure about that?" "I am." He says defiantly. "Ok then." Olivia starts to walk away. "Where do you think you're going?" "I'm not sure, but it's gotta be better than here." Olivia continues walking. "Halt. I will shoot." He warns. "Go ahead." Olivia walks past Jones. He attempts to fire a warning shot near her feet, but the bullet ricocheted off her bubble and hits a nearby tree. Olivia turns around. "That was rude." Jones is aghast. "I didn't like that, but you can still come with me if you like." Olivia continues. "And why should I?" "Because I've been on this island before. I know how to get out." "Sergeant will be back." He says. "Yeah keep telling yourself that." Olivia ventures further into the jungle. Jones hears a roar. He gets scared and follows after Olivia.

Chain Ride

O'Neil soon found himself on a fast, terrifying ride. He held on to the long chain as he was whipped back and forth through hallways and corridors. Bits of the old Wellness Center fell off at every turn. Soon a Hansel and Gretel esq trail was being left behind. It was unclear exactly where Todd was driving them, but O'Neil did his best to hold on. Unfortunately, at one particularly sharp turn O'Neil lost his grip on the chain. He was flung against a wall. The chain, and everything with it quickly went out of sight.
