True to his word, Jack found us a door out of the nursery. However, before we could explore the planet, he did something truly unpredictable. Jack turned his back to us. He then took off his ratty coat. I assumed he was going to hang it up. I was mistaken, it was all part of the show. The next thing I knew his skin turned pink. After that his back expanded and he shot up in the air fifty feet. His eyes became wide and bulgy. His arms thinned out. They looked like they stretched for miles, and he grew another pair after they were done growing. Olivia and I looked on in horror. Jack laughed a high pitch, alien laugh in response to our surprise. "What? I said I'd be your guide. I have to look the part."
