Family Affair

Olivia doesn't skip a beat. She immediately throws up her force field. She makes one that is big enough for her, Peter, Penny, and their new prisoner - friend. The prisoner screams upon being enwrapped in the bubble. "What?" She shouts. The prisoner brushes his crazy, wavy hair from his eyes. "Not free." He says. "Of course you are." Olivia replies. The prisoner keeps screaming. "Not free." He says this over and over until it is too much for Olivia. Frustrated, she throws down her force field and kicks out the prisoner. In that single moment the group of falcons swoop down. Olivia raises her palms in an attempt to create another bubble. Penny steps past Olivia, blocking her concentration. Penny caws loudly at the falcons. They caw back. She, in turn caws even louder this time. They all simultaneously stop shrieking and cawing. They bowed their heads. Penny turns to Olivia, Peter, and the prisoner. "What just happened?" Olivia asks. Peter has seen this before. He is certain is a good thing. "I'm not sure what we witnessed, but I know it was good."
